Install Windows 7 on a uefi BIOS

Hi all,

I can't find a thread that adresses this issue or a trusted guide on google, I want to know if there is a way to install your Windows 7 all editions on a computer with a uefi BIOS.

Could you be more specific as to where you are using this UEFI BIOS? What machine?
I honestly don't see why it would not work...

If you're looking for creating a bootable drive that supports UEFI, you can download Rufus. I use it all the time in creating bootable drives for Windows and even Linux. You just need to have an ISO of Windows.

Hi, thanks for your answers. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X260 that comes with Windows 7 but not in my language, so I want to change the installation. Thing is, when I create the bootable USB and try to install, it says is not UEFI compatible. 
I don't know much about hardware so I can't explain better.
