Unable to Enable CC and Script Mods Fix.
For those who are having issues getting CC and script mods enabled all you need to do is:
Options Menu> Game Options > Other > Restore Defaults
That is going to re-enable all options. You'll have to go back and fix what ever custom settings you may have set (graphics/sound/game play) and then restart your game. Everything should be working after that.
Much love <3

I also wonder if this design choice in the options (activating CC through a checkbox named "restore default options") was something deliberate, or if that was some kind 'accident'. I guess it's the former, in which case it's not so shabby.
Maybe it can help reduce CC-related problems, but in the end not all want to take the time or are less inclined to look for updated (script) mods. That is - and will still remain for the foreseeable future - a responsibility of the individual player.

So you mean implemented for people with high risk mods already installed as a warning about their risk? Hmmm could very well be. I know when I enabled everything I automatically started having issues and had to find the mod that was doing it. Or maybe it can detect a broken mod? Either way, pretty confusing for someone who doesn't know any better.
