I read at a social media (Www.hyves.nl), piratebay.org is gotta be banned by Dutch providers like Ziggo. WHAT THA HELL!? I can't live without TPB. They're forced to. This is really bad and bad news.
Sorry 'cuz of the wrong placed but I'm in a hurry and wanted to let you know, download as long as it is possible.

That's bad news.
But I don't think its time to panic yet. All this pooha about TPB has been going on for at least as long as I can remember, which has been a while (lol).
There will be a way around it.

Yes, I read about this hours ago. They must block the website within 10 days, otherwise they have to pay 10.000 Euros for each day they don't block the website. (With a maximum of 250.000 Euros)
I wonder why they did not let UPC and other providers block TPB...

Anyhow, you can always bypass this by using Tor!. Smile

And of course games who'll pay so much money for games? Calculate: Sims 3 (when released) 60 euros
any expansion 40 euro's times +- 10

This happens with every good torrenting site: I remember Torrentworld or something like that which was just as good which got banned too. They better quit this.

Tor! is used to connect to servers/websites via other people from around the world. This means the website, for example, thinks you're from Portugal, even though you're from somewhere else, you know.

Hackergroup Anonymous have hacked already the homepage of stichting BREIN. (www.Anti-Privacy.nl and one more) That's so funny, well most hate to BREIN. TPB.org already posted a message i.o the standard logo. They also advise VPN or TOR!.
Most people are angry about it so I don't know why they block it. Thought the Netherlands was a democracy?

Well as much as this sucks, there will always be a way. Pirating has been around for a while and governments have always been opposed to it and yet, people are finding new ways to share, and new ways to stay anonymous and to find a different route to where they want to go.
The Dutch have a saying, something along the lines of there are more roads that lead to Rome.
I think that applies here.
