Age of Empires 3 freezes upon exiting

Hey, sorry for my bad english. I recently downloaded your torrent for AOE3, the game had trouble starting but I used the Control Panel fix to fix that and now it runs smoothly. The problem arises when I try to exit the game, either from the main menu or from my current game. The game just freezes, alongside with my whole pc at this point I guess, since I can't even get the task manager to open or just ALT-TAB my way out of it. I have to hard reboot my pc, which of course is kind of annoying. I have Windows 10. Any other specs you need to know, or ideas about what's causing the issue? Also I'm sorry if the question has already been asked, I've tried to use the search function but I couldn't find anything similar. Thanks in advance.
