Can't run The Sims 4 with the video card in this system

I've installed everything according to the guide, and the game worked, but I couldn't load households. So I applied all the fixes and updates I could find. And now I get the graphics card error. I have a gtx770 and I did a clean install of the drivers (and then rebooted), but it didn't help. I've also tried the solutions suggested in other threads but none of them worked.

What do I do now?

Hi there,

Unfortunately you should be able to run the game with no problems at all. (Mine is 610M lol). You can take a look at this external site below to see if you're able to fix the error.

Else, what fixes and updates did you actually install? Did one of them perhaps messes up the game settings?

My gpu meets the requirements
It's updated
I only have one card
I don't have Origin installed

I don't remember exactly what the patcheD/updates/fixes were but an update for version 1.30.105.1010, the latest ultimate fix, and another fix that I don't remember what it was for... But here's a pic of the files https://gyazo.com/a52f756b7c8b18955a47cfb31fe44349

I completely wiped my computer of all nvidia drivers using driver sweeper, but it still doesn't work. Should I give up? Why.

1.30 should be Parenthood, right? Is your DLC up till that or did you proceed with Tot's stuff as well? Also, the ultimate fix will delete any current DLC you have in-game.

I'm having this problem too and I can't get the game to work.. ;_; I'm giving up, after three months of trying without succeeding.

Hi there!

Is your pc able to meet the minimum requirements for the game? Also, have you tried uninstalling the graphics driver and then re-installing the latest version again?

I might have found a fix.. I went into compatibility and I ticked "disable fullscreen optimisations" and it finally started.
I think it was a resolution problem.

Hope this saves someone's day like it saved mine! Very Happy
