Corrupt Cab files [SOLVED] Empty Corrupt Cab files [SOLVED]

Hello,

Downloaded the full Sims 4, when extracting the Sims 4 base game I keep getting corrupt cab files.     

"C:\Users\Ryan\Desktop\Torrents\The Sims 4.rar: Checksum error in setup2.cab. The file is corrupt"

First download setup1 was corrupt and now this time round its setup 2.

Any help?

Now during installation setup4 cab is corrupt... Dear lord, its easier to just buy it at this point  Why.

Hi @rwhunited ,


Have you made sure prior to downloading/extracting you have set your anti-virus and windows defender properly? By the full Sims 4, I'm hoping you actually meant the base game instead.

After 5 force re-checks it worked thankfully. Im now wondering, adding the final 3 packs, each one says to rename the game folder every time, does this need to be done every time?

Oh no. If you want to install till Toddler's stuff, I'd suggest you install like this instead.


  1. Base game -> Get to Work -> Get Together -> City Living -> Vampire -> Parenthood -> Fitness -> Tot's Stuff.
  2. Basically just install everything. Haha.
  3. Rename your current Game to Game_ OR delete it.
  4. Download and install this new game folder: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t29990-fix-for-endless-household-loading-screen-version-1-33-38-1020

Once you have renamed the Game folder after the installation of Toddlers/Vampires/Bowling it should no longer be required.
However, it doesn't do any harm to perform this every time you install Parenthood - Fitness - Toddler Stuff.
