Sims 4 Won't open after Toddler Stuff Pack

Hello,
I've recently completed the download and install of all Sims 4 Packs ect. After installing the Toddler Stuff Pack , my game shows up for a few seconds as if it is starting up but instantly dissappeares again. I have followed all instructions and all work well up until before the last update. I have scrolled through the forums and tried all suggestions I could find regarding taskbar, rebooting, the fix ect.
I don't know if I missed something but none of it seems to help with my case ?
If anybody could assist it would be largely appreciated !!!

Hi there and welcome to the forum!

For now, it couldn't hurt to double-check that you have everything installed and it is in the correct order.

Install base game -> Get to Work -> Get Together -> City Living -> Vampire (Toddler's).
Rename Game folder to Game_. OR Delete the current Game folder.**
Install Parenthood -> Fitness -> Toddler's Stuff.

Currently, the folders you should have inside your Sims 4 installation folder are; [EP01 - EP03, FP01] [GP01 - GP05] [SP01 - SP12]

Hi everyone,

I have the exact same issue as daniellejvr.

I tried a second time to re-install all the TS4 files in the correct order and added the Error Code 3 fix but the game still won't start. The game looks like it will start for a few seconds and then stops automatically, then nothing happens.

My current Sims 4 folder looks like this :

I'm sorry for the french part, but it's the same folder destination I'm sure of it !
So if anyone can find me a solution, I would really appreciate it. I want to play this game for so long... Sad

I had no problem installing your TS3 files so I still have faith.

Hi @Lexoerus and welcome to the forum! Very Happy

So far your folders look to be in place and there's nothing missing. Have you tried running the game in windowed mode and also running the troubleshooter compatibility? Was your game working before installing the Toddler's Stuff or is this a fresh install of the game?

You can also try placing this game folder instead to your game and see if it's able to load. Simply rename your current Game to Game_ and then copy + paste the one below.

Alright I almost feel like you just saved my life, it's crazy. A big thank you, really ! This new Game folder worked perfectly and now I can play the game ! I'm so happy I could cry Why God.

But there is just a last tiny issue : my game is in English and not in French. I can play the game like this but if there is a way to have it in my first language it would be perfect Very Happy

EDIT : It's ok, I found the file that I needed to change the language of my game in the Base Game folder ! Thanks again for your help and I hope it will help our other friend too Very Happy

Just wanted to chime in that I had the same problem as the above two people. (It would load for only a second or two, which I only knew because I was looking at the task manager.) And that this fix also worked for me.
