Sims 4 crashing

Hello everyone!

I have a problem with the Sims 4. I installed the game a few months ago and it worked normally (after I fixed some errors with your help). I´m using windows 10 and after an update, the game started crashing. I already checked the forum and did a few steps that you recommended (moving The Sims 4 folder, turning off DEP...) but nothing seems to work. Can anybody please help.

Are you currently running the G4TW version or the ZLOrigin version? Try checking your graphics driver to see if it needs to be updated. Other than that, are there any other errors after the game crash?

I´m using the Zlorigin version.  I checked and the driver does not need updating. after it crashes it says nothing except that The Sims 4 has stopped working. The game worked great until the update for windows 10.
i installed the Zlorigin version because the games4theworld wasn´t working properly. It was crashing every time I traveled somewhere with my sims. Now it crashes randomly even when I´m saving the game.

Windows 10 was updated recently to version 1709.
I noticed that since that update I had to shut down Windows Defender's real-time protection.
Even placing files/folders in the exceptions of the AV could not solve the problems for cracked and ZLOrigin The Sims 4 games.
It would only play when real-time protections was switched out.
