Compliments to the G4TW Team
Hello.
Kabiru here.
I just wanted to express fondness to this forum. Few people may remember me, myself not being around a lot. But I have subscribed to this forum back in summer 2012, when The Sims 3 Diesel Stuff wasn't even released yet. I was looking for a fully working Sims 3 game, along with all of its expansions and stuff packs, and with store stuff. This website here have met my expectations. On top of that, I have started to subscribe on the forum to get to know more about the Samaritans who made the game possible to be played for free. I realised the forum here offered not only good friends, but also an astounding support system, going from minor to major issues concerning the games they offered. EA being a game developer which never offered that, I was mighty impressed. I became fond, with time, of the Admin and Lady Eldi as well.
I know that along time, I was not always there on the forum, but that was mainly because of personal issues. However, my caring for all of you guys remained and endured through time. This forum had endured through a lot of years so far, and I feel glad to see it's still going well.
Recently, I saw that the forum was closed, but as soon as I got an email from you saying it is back on, I wanted to write to you that I was fearing one of you admins might have got busted by authorities and may have been in trouble. I was a tad worried. Let me know if everything's okay.
Myself, I still play The Sims 3 every night. I tried The Sims 4 numerous times, but the lack of what Sims 3 offered through its numerous expansions is not making me hooked as much as when I played The Sims 3. And I miss the Open World system.
Concerning personal life, I have got married again and this time with a white man. This is an extremely different relationship, but far more life-enriching. I have gone back to University and I have finally obtained custody of my two sons. While at first I was worried my husband might hate them, it turned out to the opposite. He absolutely LOVES them. We plan to have a third child with us. We would like to have a daughter this time, and we really keep our hopes about it. I have adopted a new horse, which I named Tempest. He's a female Arabic, with an impressive robe, all dark, and she has a white fur star on her forehead, making her stand out. She'll be ready to be trained soon, as she'll be five next summer.
I wish you all a very merry Christmas. It's coming soon already! On good thoughts to all of you.
My dearest friendship to Lady Eldi and Adwomin.
Have a nice day,
Kabiru

I can tell you on behalf of all the team members (past & present) though, if there had been legal problems you most likely would not have been able to access the Forum at all here during this "interim period".

Hello.
I figured this could've been worse. I am relieved you all are well.

Absolutely! Times are changing, and a certain change of mood is discernible among "today's Forum crowd" compared to 4-5 years back. Negative mainstream news coverage about piracy platforms, a certain 'discomfort' for most users to stick around for more than just getting their Sims-fixes (which can have reasons such as perceived privacy/safety concerns, etc.), and finally also the un-popularity of TS4.
While I'm at it, it's always nice to read occasionally from people who still remember the past. A Merry Christmas in advance to you and your family/friends!
