Hi sir

I trust you are well

I couldn’t leave a new topic on the site g4tw and then I saw you said I can send you a private e-mail.

I am trying to install sims 4 on a windows 8.1 operating system.

It gives me an error message that says “The Dynamic library “rdl.dll” failed to initialize(E0).

I uninstalled all antivirus so that should not be an issue and the windows defender is deactivated.

I already tried to install and copy those files to the windows 8.1

I tried looking for closed topics on the website but it only explained that you must do file exclusion on the anti-viruses that’s installed.

The Microsoft visual C++ Redistributable(x64) is not installing

I have run out of options please assist me I would highly appreciate that.

Rld.dll is only required for the base game and Get to Work. When you continue installing you can remove rld.dll completely.
From then on it is RldOrigin.dll that you should exclude in your AV programm.
