Can't install Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection.

Hi, I'm having an issue with ZT2 Ultimate Collection, when I try to install it, it pops up a message which says "Zoo Tycoon 2: Ultimate Collection cannot install running setup.exe. Type autorun.exe, our double-click autorun.exe on the game CD."
The thing is, the instructions clearly specify that I should install the game from setup.exe. When I try to do it from autorun, nothing happens. I tried rebooting my PC, I tried redownloading, unzipping the .rar file to many different folders and nothing seems to work so far. Can you help?

EDIT: nevermind, I got it to work... somehow o.o

Can anyone help me with this? I have the same problem, and i still don't know how to solve it.

I got the same message but i made it run with "the folder you put the download in"-->files-->startup.exe

Try this (if you haven't fixed the problem). Open the rar file and extract the files into a folder on your desktop. Now name the folder ZT2UCD1. Then start the installation with autorun.exe. See if it helps.

I'm so bad at computers, please tell me where i find this rar-file? maybe i'm blind, but i can't seem to find it

Hello and welcome to the Forum @Laura4554,

The .rar file is the file that you get when you download the game. You have to use the program WinRAR for opening the file, and then extract all contents of the .rar file, into an empty folder.

You then start the installation from within the empty folder.
