Quick question about moving game outside C:

When I download the Sims 4 base game, can I move it from C:\ and download the rest directly to my E:\ or do I have to download EVERYTHING to C:\ and then move all of it to my E:\?

as my test its fine and got no problem

You can MOVE (or Cut/paste) any time you like.
Advisable however soon after installing the base game.
