SimCity 4 Deluxe Patch.[SOLVED]

Hello,

I'm downloading SimCity 4 Deluxe, and I was just wondering if I patch the game, will the crack still work? I think I saw another post about this, and the answer was no, but then someone posted an updated crack file.

Hello,
An updated crack will only work if its compatible with the game version you're updating to. Personally I think its best to leave well enough alone. Just crack&play and don't try to fix what isn't broken. I'm sure the patch has some purpose, but its not like the game is unplayable without the patch.

Hello,

Like Lady ElDi said, you'll only need a new crack after updating to a newer version.

For example, if you have version 1.0 now, but update to 2.0 , the 1.0 crack won't work any more and you'll need to find a 2.0 crack on the web. (Which isn't very hard)

Thanks for the responses, guys. I wanted the update, because the game crashed a few times, and also because I'm slightly anal about having the latest update.

I followed your advice and found a crack for the patched game. You're right, it was pretty easy.
