Sims won't follow commands after installing latest EPs

Hi all,

I just downloaded and installed all EPs from Cats & Dogs up to the latest update. I'm now running into the following issue when playing the game : my sims just wont follow commands. It started out as my Sim not being able to finish cooking a meal, then not being able to hold a toddler, then the toddler wouldn't eat and wouldn't go to sleep even tho she's standing next to her bed.
After some more testing I realized this was a global issue, my sims just won't complete the actions I want them to. The action appears in the action bar on the left side of the screen, then gets crossed and disappears.

The reason I'm posting this here is because I've spent hours testing every possible solution I found online, and on this forum. I tried re-installing and yet, nothing seems to fix this.

The only option I found so far was to deactivate all CC. With CC off, my sims function normally. Only problem : I have over 5,000 items of CC   and everything I built in the game was built with CC! So when I deactivate it, all I have left are walls, and bold sims in underwear.

My question is : has anyone experienced this before and how did you fix it? Is there a way, like a software or something that would allow me to identify what CC might be causing this? 
I never had any issue with CC before. I can't picture myself spending hours removing and re-uploading CC little by little as I have so much of it.
I do not have any mods installed tho.

Just so you know, I've been using Games4theworld's cracks for a long time and followed every step of all installs very carefully. I'm only posting this here because I'm really running out of options

There is the mods conflict detector at mod the sims you could try, it also checks conflicting cc, but other than that I am sorry, you will have to use the 50/50 method and try to narrow it down. I had to do tis twice and have approximately 11000 cc. Believe me, it takes time. Now I always test new cc in small files before I put it in the permanent file.
The mods conflict detector does not always show all the conflicts, or you might get a false positive. But it helps narrowing it down a bit.

What do you mean by testing new CC in small files ? Sounds like something I'd like to try in the future.

The thing is, I havent downloaded any new CC since I installed the recent EPs, and my game worked well prior to installing them. So I'm guessing that some old CC isn't compatible with new EPs.

what I have done with my cc, I have sorted it into various files, i.e hair, makeup, windows/doors, plants etc. Now everytime I download new stuff I put it into a file called testing. Then I run the game and check if any complications arise from new cc. If not, I put those packages into the respective file. Hair to hair, toddler clothing to toddler clothing, plants to plants etc. If the game does not work properly I do the 50/50 method. Take out half the new stuff, run game to test. this I repeat until the culprit is found.
With old stuff I hardly have problems with cc. With every new update I wait a couple of days and then download and run the latest Sims4studio. I run the batch fixes and those normally sort out any problems. The mods are a different story. Those I keep in a separate folder. They need to be updated on a regular basis. But keeping them in a folder on its own makes them easy to find. As I have mentioned, I have HUGE amount of cc. :)and run the batch fixes. It will help a lot.

I just saw that you have installed cats and dogs recently. That Game pack created havock with lots and lots of cc. Please download Sims4 Studio

Hi, thanks for the tip ! I didn't know CC worked in the game if sorted out in different folders. That's good to know!

A quick update on my current issue: I used the Mods Conflict Detector and removed about 50 files, launched the game and nothing changed, my sims wont follow command. 

I guess all that's left to do is using the 50/50 method now  thanks Loonieloose

I'm going to try the Sims4Studio first  thanks !

Run all the other fixes as well. you will be surprised how much of the cc is borked after updates. just ignore the thumbnail stuff and where they have allow or disalow cc for aliens, vampires etc.  Glad your game is up and running again!
