Sims 3 base game won't install??

So I tried downloading the sims 3 with all the expansion packs twice, and the base game won't let me install it.

The first time I downloaded it it actually installed, but it didn't require a code so I got scared and cancelled the installation when it was about halfway. I tried reinstalling it again, but now and every time since then the startup file just closes just after I agree to the terms.

 I'm running a windows 7 and have tried basically everything to fix this problem.

Have you tried restarting? Windows 7 and 8/8.1 are notorious for needing a resart after uninstalling a program.

Yes, I've restarted multiple times and the issue is still there.

Re-download the 1.67 fix (<-Download link)and the Sims 3 Complete (<-Download Link)collection (entering the supplied serial number(s) provided). Follow the install directions except for installing the "crack" files. Reboot and apply the 1.67 fix "crack" only!!

This should fix your game.

Probably there is an entry in the computers register.
This means that the installation program "thinks" that the Sims 3 is already installed.
Remove the remnants with f.e. Revo uninstaller.

Alright, how would I remove the remnants with Revo uninstaller? I've never used it before. Anything related to TS3 isn't showing up.

I fixed my problem! All I had to do was drag folder itself to desktop and run it there.
