The Sims 2 Soundtrack. Empty The Sims 2 Soundtrack.

Post by Guest Wed 09 Aug 2017, 19:59

After listening to the Sims 2 soundtrack, I noticed that it's got a charm that the Sims 3 one lacks, and thus I started ripping the tracks out to later put them into Sims 3.

Of course, all the tracks exported from SimPE were not named correctly. Luckily enough, most of them had the title inside the mp3 tags. Went through all the tracks to name them by category, sorted them into expansion folders, and made a program to properly name them.

So, here's the complete soundtrack for the Sims 2. Enjoy.
Download Link!

Mod edit: re-uploaded as .rar archive.

Link URL shortened; thanks for sharing this! Also, don't forget to use 7-zip for extracting this, which you can download here: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
Not sure to what extent WinRAR can be used for .7z files.

The latest versions of Win does support 7Zip archives, but 7Zip is better in every way. Better parallelism, better compression, and it's free.

Can't really argue much about it, neither for or against. I'm sure there will always be nifty computer science experts or cryptologists able to come up with better algorithms.

But at the time the Forum was founded, it was decided by the administration to roll with .rar archive files, and using 7-zip on those .rar files has been known to cause issues. Not always, but often enough. And that is the only reason I brought up WinRAR, as most people are usually familiar with using that particular program when visiting G4TW and using the downloads here.
