The Sims 4 -Cats and dogs - Reloaded - Minimizing all the time?

Hello guys. I got help from you folks in this thread which helped get the game going for my kid.

Running windows 10, 64 bit. Acting weird last couple of weeks. Everytime she loads the game it appears to load fine but when she goes to play it,
it keeps minimizing to the tray, so she can't play it. I told her to do a file cleanup. She goes in and empties the temp and system files folders and the game seems to play fine for a while then all of a sudden it will minimize to the tray again. Any ideas whats happening.
Ps: I didn't send her the last two updates because the game has been working fine for a month and I was worried something would get screwed up.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry for the belated reply,

When the game minimizes, I don't assume you tried maximizing the window? Happens sometimes on my end, that instead of the game screen coming up "immediately", the window just shows up on the taskbar. But when I click on it, the window maximizes and all is good.

Try re-applying the Cats & Dogs "Game"-folder, which essentially contains fresh No-Origin files. In case your files got damaged somehow, this will replace them.

Just extract with WinRAR and copy/paste the folder over your existing installation of The Sims 4. Choose merge folders/replace existing files. Then try the game again. Good luck!
