Dear new users,
It has come to my attention that you never received a confirmation email after registering to our forum. It seems like the forum software changed a setting in my admin panel, so that "Administrator activation" was required for each new user.
Given the fact that we get a couple of dozen new registrations each day, it stands to reason that I did not choose to change this setting myself...
I have rectified the issue, and activated all of your accounts, and I apologise for the inconvenience.

It's probably not realistic to expect clearer communication from a free service, which - in their own words - seems to be facing increased difficulties with financing their operations. But the only (vague) reference to "problems" in the aftermath of the latest Forum updates is an obscure thread, in an even obscurer section on the official Forumotion Support-Forums:
https://help.forumotion.com/t155897-codes-no-longer-working-for-some-forum-s
^maybe Forumotion will want to implement some internal "bulletin" or notification system for these things, if global e-mails to Forum Administrators are not an option.
