Cheats not working after Seasons

Hi everyone  
So I noticed yesterday that when I type in cheats in my game they do not work. I typed in the skills cheats and nothing happened. I read a  tweet by SimGuruGrant that the cheats were disabled and that they are working on it. Does anyone know when will cheats work again?

Some of the cheats EA took out with the Seasons release. According to them, they are working on providing the cheats as a drop down menu later on. However, T-Mex updated his mod all cheats available for Seasons, that would be your choice for now. With his mod all cheats can be type and work as usual. The mod is called Tmex-Allcheats.

Did anybody (except me here) consider the possibility that they took out (some) cheats in order to help increase "engagement" with the game? After all, quite a lot of players seem to power through the game by cheating themselves to Lv.10 in all skills, and many other things, which of course will make the game quicker to play through.

True, their excuse was that by using those cheats they took out, people were messing up the game and they could not help them or offer them support. That was a first for them, since I never heard them say something like that for Sims 3.
