Sims 2 Settings: Anti-aliasing & Ambient Occlusion.
Hello, I have the Nvidia Control Panel pulled up in hopes I could tweak a few settings to get The Sims 2 to look better. Right now in my game at night time the pool lights are not casting the light/shadows properly...This doesn't matter if I have lighting on High or Medium.
Should I have:
Ambient Occlusion On/Off?
Antialiasing - FXAA On/Off?
Any other thing I should have On/Off?
Any other suggestions?

You can try turning on/tweaking the Anti-aliasing, which is more about softening the outer edges of objects/sims. As for the Ambient occlusion (and the whole lights/shadows thing in general), never paid much attention to it in The Sims 2. But yes, please try tweaking Ambient occlusion as well, and let us know the results!
Edit: topic title slightly clarified.

Ambient Occlusion wasn't available to turn on. And I turned on Anti-aliasing but that didn't work for the lighting issue. Thank you anyways I guess I'll live with it lol. I just don't know what other settings to mess with.
