Sims 4 Patches and broken Mods list. [CLOSED] Empty Sims 4 Patches and broken Mods list. [CLOSED]

As most of us are familiar with, Scarlet at Sims VIP use to compile a list for Mods that were broken by patches or new DLC's, which made it a lot easier for players to go and check on the status of particular mods. However, Scarlet will not be doing this any longer and was gracious enough to give the spreadsheet to someone else to continue. The adress below is where the google spread sheet is located that has been taken by Sasha, one of the EA helpers.

Maybe, in the future we could consider having our own here,or a Forum copy; or would it be redundant? @The_gh0stm4n

I have no problem with such a project being posted here, would you like to take it over maybe?

As for me, I don't give a $hit about this game. Never liked The Sims 4, and quite frankly the only reason I even post in these (Sims Support) sections is because we don't have enough "boots on the ground" to cover all areas of The Sims. We have some blue SuperMods, but Dracos is currently "K.O-ed". And SeoY functions mostly as an advisor in the background. Maybe at some point we will appoint more people to Quartermasters, who knows.

Personally, for this project I would still prefer someone who has some kind of positive "track record" on the Forums here. In case that is not an option, we will still evaluate any interested candidates, nonetheless.

In other words: I myself can sticky these threads, do the moderator/administrator magic, and maybe give some very general advice. But as far as actual Sims-content-creation goes...I'm not really into that.

I do understand you, since this game (Sims 4) has been a great disappointment comparing it to Sims 3, as far as playability, I still like some aspects of it, which I can't recall right at this moment, (LOL). The reason I thought about this spread sheet for the forum is more in tune with the thought that instead people asking my game isn't working or "this weird" thing is happening in my game after a patch download or a DLC, they could go into this page and look for the mods they use and see for themselves if is a mod issue or not. The only reason I did not offer to do it, myself is for the technical difficulties (LOL)> I can do a simple post alright, but everything else is like weird science. I amazed on how I have learned my way around the Sims 3 and 4. Well, let us see where this takes us. Dedicated to Carlos

grieralexander wrote:(...) that instead people asking my game isn't working or "this weird" thing is happening in my game after a patch download or a DLC, they could go into this page and look for the mods they use and see for themselves if is a mod issue or not.

That would have to be an epic list of "outdated mods and their effects if being used in a new patch version of the game". 3 or 4 years ago I would have maybe tried it myself, but I'm slowly getting older too, and priorities change.

In theory it would be nice of course to have someone on here focussing on that type of stuff, though in practical reality that will be a lot harder than most of us anticipate. And I don't really want this to be another The Sims 4 Gallery where some randoms show up, eagerly proclaiming that they will take care of the project, only to drop out shortly after, because of [insert excuse here]. Indeed, anybody can create a thread here "making the first step", but what comes next? My take is, not much, if anything at all. So we would prefer such a potential role being filled only by a "seasoned" individual on here.

Another issue is that I feel I can't even relate properly to people using tons of mods and other CC items. I played TS3 a lot back then, and I also downloaded a "big mods folder" at some point, that I still play with sometimes today. But for TS4...with these mini-updates coming out so frequently, I can understand a bit that people get frustrated with having to re-do their Mods-folder all the time. Can't offer much more advice here than some deadbeat-stuff, such as maybe "prioritizing" mods/CC and generally trying to keep the number of stuff that you use small, in order to minimize work when new patches roll out.
