Did you install any further DLC's or patches/updates after the all-in ?

Nope, only downloaded it and copied it to my C:Drive from the iso. Thats it. Did only the things which were in the installation post. The language is in english still too.Tarac wrote:Did you install any further DLC's or patches/updates after the all-in ?
And all the settings are to low - or turned off. (tried also switching on/off the laptop mode, but nothing changed too).

If it's not a state secret, would you mind posting the hardware specs of the computer here, on which you are trying to play the game?

Of course its not a secret, it is an old HP-Elitebook 8850. It has an I5- dual core prozessor. Separate 1GB Nvidia graphics chip. 2GB DDR3 RAM.The_gh0stm4n wrote:m-miska wrote:Nope, only downloaded it and copied it to my C:Drive from the iso. Thats it. But the game is running without problems, its smooth. Till I try to load something, move somewhere(as an example).
And if this info helps. Befor I tried this all-in packed game I downloaded the game with dlc's separately. Tried the basic game without any DLC and everything worked just fine.

I think the RAM is your weak spot; I remember they significantly beefed up system requirements for "My First Pet Stuff", let me see if I can find the link:
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/the-sims/the-sims-4/addon/the-sims-4-my-first-pet-stuff#store-page-section-requirements
4GB of RAM is stated there as a minimum requirement; it applies in your case because Seasons came out after My First Pet. The base game worked fine for you because back then the requirements were stone-age-like. But as things tend to happen with games that "run" over several years (e.g. The Sims 4, to a lesser extent GTA Online, etc.) the hardware requirements increase over time.
You will either need to try upgrading the RAM on that notebook or ... not be able to play these latest Sims 4 DLC. Feel free to wait for a second opinion, but I don't think there is another way around this, other than upgrading the hardware.
