Cannot Load Households, No CC

I have the Sims 4 downloaded to the latest patch (post-seasons), and it had been working fine until last week when it suddenly started having an error. The error makes it so I can't play as any household, and the initial error message I got was most likely because of corrupted or conflicting custom content. I've removed all CC from my documents folder, and the issue is persisting. I've also tried clearing the cache.
I haven't been able to find anything online regarding the exact problem I'm having where when I go to hover over a household, instead of showing their image, it shows the loading circle and flickers a blue box repeatedly.
I have this issue with premade households already on the map, and one's I place myself. I'm not really sure where to go from here, aside from resetting the game entirely?

Try without shader files. So move everything listed as "unknown files" somewhere else. Except for "game/bin/core/winhttp.dll", you can delete that one.

Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder to desktop and run the game. It should be fine now so close the game and copy "save" directory from folder on desktop to the one in documents.If that still doesn't help, then your save file is corrupted.

It ended up being a corrupted save file, and I found a post someone made on how to watch out for corrupted files in the future. I'd never had one before, so I didn't really know what it looked like or how it effected the game. Thanks a lot for your help!
