The Sims 4 missing DLC after Get Famous pack. Packs say "Download to Use"

It's pretty straight forward and not a big deal, but for example, I have all other expansions saying "owned". Get to Work and a few other packs are saying "Download to Use."

Yeah im on the same page as you, every time i start the game it says Pack download in Progress. I've tried reinstalling the update many times and no luck.

Are you sure you didn't skip Get Famous?

I made sure to get all the updates too, its the strangest thing. I wish it would work. Maybe i'll reinstall everything lol

And this is consistent with the expansion packs it says I still need to download, get to work and outdoor retreat. I should say that it still lets me play the game, but these files are missing.

Well that's because you didn't install them. Get to Work and Outdoor Retreat DLCs are in "The Sims 4 - Get to Work.rar". Did you download it? Do you still have that file?

You're exactly right. Here's the thing though, I assumed they were installed because the game was running, in the past it wouldn't start up if I was missing something. I just took the files and added them to the game and now it's working. It was such a simple fix that I over complicated but thank you for suggesting the validator. It would crash if you were missing only some files from those DLCs. You were missing all of them (minus language files), so the game didn't even try to load the DLC.
