Sims 4: Installing Mods
Hi,
I just installed Sims 4 from you guys with almost all the expansion packs. Everything works beautifully. I'm having no issues. But I'd like to have custom content in my game. With Sims 4 installed from Origin, I was able to move the custom content files into a folder called 'Mods' and they would appear in the game. But the folder hierarchy for Sims 4 from here is different. How can I go about installing mods, i.e getting them into my game?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Sims 4: Installing Mods
I'm not a staff person here, but when I install mods I just dump them into the mods folder under:
My computer / Local Disk C: / Users / [Username] / My Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4 / Mods
That's for .package and script mods. For Sims households and lots etc that would be under the same direction but in the /Tray folder
It's the same folder the origin game would create as well for save games, mods and tray items. You have to load up the game at least once and it will automatically create that folder.

As a sidenote: you do not have to be a G4TW team member of course, to help fellow users! Historically of course, you'll find a lot of replies being from people with "colored usernames". The reason for that is that typically, users come here to seek help...and not necessarily to stick around for longer than that.
