The Sims 4 Bug: Try for baby option got cancelled

I recently reinstallled all the Sims 4 base game and packs, and now currently I have untill pack Get Famous and the newest version, 1.48.94.1020 . The reason is I have this bug where everytime my two married sims try for baby, the action got cancelled abruptly. The Woohoo works perfectly fine. And now I reinstalled, the problem still not solved.

My two married sims already had the bars fulled and I got the option to woohoo and try for baby. But everytime I tried to try for baby, they both did go to the bed, but then nothing happened. The action got cancelled.

I already made sure that there is no obstacles to the bed, set their pregnancy preference, and the flirty mode to the fullest. The last solution I tried was checking the mods. I use Mods Conflict Detector (MCD) to detect corrupt mods and I deleted them all. But it's still not working.

When I search for another solution, they said to clear the cache and I did, but still, nothing changed. I can Woohoo but I can't try for the baby.

I hope someone can help me with this. :'(

Does it work in another household?

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator (in quick scan mode) and post the result here.

Okay, first of all, I'm so thankful that someone did reply to my witty question. 

I did as you said, move the sims 4 folder to desktop, and this results to a new folder to be reloaded. Then, my saves and mods automatically need to be backup manually but I tried to play without my old saves and mods, and yes it works. 

I think it's my sloppiness that it's the faulty here. I'M TERRIBLY SORRY. It seems like the mods actually has been causing all the trouble. :')  I tried to detect the conflicts using some detectors, but they still didn't able to detect the bad mods. 

I really like my mods which mostly consist cc for clothes and furniture. But to move them one by one to check which the faulty is.... I don't know. Isn't it going to take a long time? Or do you have any other suggestion?

You can try the method of halves. Start the game with half of your mods. If it works, move them to "mods - working" folder. If it doesn't, move them to "mods - not working" and then move half of them back. And so on.

But I'd recommend checking every script mod for updates after every The Sims 4 patch. For CC you can use Sims 4 Studio for batch fixes. But I don't use mods/CC so can't help you much with it.

Btw, can I ask, why San Myushno doesn't show in my gameplay...? The main menu said I have City Living Pack...

What does it say when you hover over City Living icon in main menu?

It says 'Download to Use'. What does that mean?

That means you didn't install it.

If you have "The Sims 4 - City Living.rar", extract those folders from it: EP03, GP03, SP05, SP06, SP07, SP08, SP09.

If you don't, download those DLCs from my repack.

I'm terribly sorry for not replying to your message, I've been busy and didn't have strong internet connection. Thank you so much for the guide.  When I extract the files, I'm supposed to skip these files right? Not replacing them...

Doesn't matter, files in those folders never change. But just to be sure - replace them.
