sims 4 wont let me progress

OK so i've done everything i can think of and i cant fix this i've reinstalled the sims and done the most recent update but as soon as i get into moving into a house, i click the tick and nothing happens. 


it just wont let me go any further

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator (in quick scan mode) and post the result here.

i did that and it worked, set up a test family, worked. moved my mods back and now it wont progress pass the start screen and when i click the play arrow it does nothing

Update your mods then.
