The Sims 3: Create a World

Well, originally this was a question thread about compatibility with G4tW's downloads and how to patch CAW properly.

Now I'm direct-linking the download file to bypass the need for a Sims 3 account to download the 1.9.14 version of Create a World.

Hi,

Should I move this topic to the "Fixes" -section?

Technically it is a fix, since you can't update it by the launcher and are required to download it from the Sims 3 site (which demands a password and a username with a Sims 3 serial code). I've eliminated that by direct-linking, so it would actually be a fix for people with Ambitions who suddenly get an error on their Create a World.

I've tried, but the page is different, and I can't find the direct link in the page code will check again soon.

Thank you so much for the create-a-world installation, that's just lovely, indeed.

But I need to ask, am I the only one having trouble with the program? When I'm applying terrain then suddenly I can't unless I zoom all the way in, and a little moment after I can again when I zoom out also. It does it all the times, and sometimes I can't apply terrain no matter what I do. Is it the program or what?

I'm sorry, first of all I know you can't give support, and second, I may
be to quick, because I've found the problem. Unfortunally you can't
edit from all sides when you rotate, but thats how it is.

Wouldn't the download link stated in the opening post be the latest version, since it's a direct link? I'm not sure though.

I downloaded this after installing showtime and it says its not the right version. Can anywone PLEASE help me find a version that works after showtime?

CAW is updated? I'm waiting to patch until all the mods I have are updated to 1.34
