Custom Music Being Cut Fix Empty Custom Music Being Cut Fix

Post by Guest Fri 17 Jan 2014, 09:17

This will fix problems with Custom Music within the sims. Many people have a problem with their custom music. It'll play one or two songs and then it'll just cut out. Sometimes it can be temporarily fixed by switching stations or buying a new stereo, however, it once again cuts out.

There's three ways that this problem can occur.

1. Your music files aren't .mp3
2. Your music files bit rate is higher than 320 kbps.
3. Your music files have album art.

The problem with your custom music is probably the fact that they have album art attached to them. Just have a quick google on how to remove album art and your problem will be solved! Just make sure you're removing the album art from the files within the "Custom Music" folder, and not the actual folder which contains the original music files.

I hope this will be helpful for some people!
