World Adventures install - WTF?!

TS3 installed just fine. Now, WA is another story! I have done this before, but obviously some changes have been made, because I don't remember it requiring so much b.s. to do. Maybe because I downloaded the RELOADED releases...

What is this 'regedit' crap? There is no 'Sims' directory in there.

What is this 'sims3patch.exe' inside 'Crack 1'?! It's in a nonexistent language, and doesn't work anyways...

The files in 'Crack 3' don't work either.

Should I just install everything normally, then apply the UF?

Besides, if you would have read the big, bold, red letters on the frontpage of the Forum, you'd have noticed this post: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly , telling you that you do not need to use any of the "# Crack" folders.

I am having a similar problem, I followed the directions on how to correctly download but when I get to WA it tells me that the Sims 3 needs to be updated before installed, so I proceed with clicking yes to update and it gives me an error sayig "error with Sims 3 update "....I have not applied any of the cracks or patches when installing either game
