World Adventures Missing Sim

So I go take a vacation and my Sim doesn't arrive, and the needs bar/money indicator all looks like when you're in commercial Build Mode. I restarted the game, and the whole family is missing...help?

Actually I recall having this problem a few years back when WA first came out - I think I remember it being a bug, which EA addressed. You can backup your save from the Sims 3/Saves folder.

Also, make sure your game is fully patched, since it seems like they fixed this issue in a patch...but it's been a while, so I can't remember.

Well I patched it to the most recent patch I could...I had to update earlier cause I installed Supernatural, updated again, and then installed World Adventures...so you think I should do it again?

No, if you have Supernatural installed, your game should be at 1.38 which is the latest version.

I would recommend restoring your save, and installing the Twallans travel mod. That might help.

I'm surprised you're still having this issue, since it's a very old bug - and there are quite a few people who had the same problem. I would have thought EA would have fixed it in the patches.
