requres installed copy of the sims?

hi,! i just wanna ask, just finished downloading and about to install sims 3 fast line stuff, but it says there that "this product requires an installed copy of the sims 3. please install the sim 3 before installing the product" what will i do next?!

What kind of Base game do you have? CD/DVD, Origin, Steam, or Did you download it from a torrent?

i downloaded it from torrent..

i opened the setup but unable to run...

i downloaded it from thepyratebay but i cant install the base game.. when ever i tried, something pop up and says "this product requires an installed copy of the sims 3"..

Remove the http:// part should be good, or just remove all of the http://thepiratebay.se/ and leave the rest.

So have you download The Sims 3 base? Since you do need that in order to install the Expansions.

What do you mean it's been corrupted?

i downloaded the link that u've given but when i'm about to extract from rar, it says the file has been corrupted...

If the file is still in your torrent client, can right-click and do a re-check, and that should fix it, if not, will have to re-download.

They get corrupted by the downloader somehow not downloading all of the file, it happens once in a while, the torrent client somehow doesn't catch that it missed part of it.

i've tried to rebuild it from the downloader but it didn't work so yeah i have to re-download it again... hope it works now...
