counter strike source online problem

when i downloaded counter strike source and was going to go to properties on the online file i did all the files to notedpad files can anyone help me to get it back? it was vdf file

Which file do you need? The Crack file that is in the '# Crack' folder in the .rar file you Downloaded or one of the Original files of the Game? Be more specific, so we can send you the file(s).

i got all the files but in instruction it says i need to go to properties so i did but i clicked so all the vdf files open in notedpad.... but its not that its supposed to open in right? so when i go on the game its not online

Did you Download the torrent from: ***.thepiratebay.org/user/games4theworld ? Because the Installation Guide doesn't say something about Options, right? If yes, please quote the whole Installation Guide here.

Ok, which file exactly?

i dont know what it was but it stands its a vdf file

I recommend you uninstall the Game, restart your PC and then reinstall the Game. It should fix all the problems. It's going to take too much time like this, since you shouldn't edit .vdf files.
