sims 3 launcher has stopped working.

I have all expansion packs except world adventures. I downloaded some stuff from your mediafire account and was installing some of it yesterday and everything was working fine. I go to finish installing the rest today and i get "sims 3 launcher has stopped working" What's going on and what can I do to fix it?? HELP!!!

Hello,
You don't really need the launcher to play, but it can be a bit more challenging to install sims3packs without it. Try to double-click them (or select a couple, right-click and "open with".. Sims launcher). As long as the launcher starts, there's a chance the installation will continue.

tried both ways and still got the "sims 3 launcher has stopped working". do I know if it worked anyway? How do I play without the launcher??

Thanks, but the files I want to download are the worlds and the link says that the worlds must be installed with the launcher. 
So i guess I just won't be able to play in those worlds. Sad day.

What if you go into the base game\bin and try another launcher exe? There are, I believe, 3. It doesn't really matter which one you use.
Did you change anything at all after which the problem started?

You could try uninstalling/reinstalling just the base game. Don't forget to restart the pc.
