The Sims Medieval
Hey, I was trying to download it onto my computer, and when I tried to do the setup
it always came up with this message
>SetupNew\Setup.cpp(140)
PAPP
PVENDOR:
PGUID
$15.0.0.498
@Windows 98 Service Pack
2(67766446)
IE Version.7.0.6002.18005
i've never seen it before, and I'm quite confused. Any help on the matter?

Hi 80s_Katies777.
I haven't seen that error before in my time testing the installation of The Sims Medieval (its a standalone game, separated from Sims 3). Out of curiosity, what version of Windows are you running, and if it is Windows 7 or Vista, are you trying to run it in compatibility mode for some reason? Also, what program are you using to extract the .rar with?

Re: The Sims Medieval
It is Windows Vista, and I at first tried it with out compatibility, but it did the same thing, no matter what I did. Considering it gave me that error both with and with out the compatibility.
But yeah, I tried compatibilities, and that didn't work. Do I need to just redownload it?

Re: The Sims Medieval
Not necessarily. Some of these errors can be caused by issues with the .rar not being properly extracted, if you are using 7zip, try WinRar. If you are using WinRar, try 7zip. If that still doesn't work, you can try re-downloading again and see if it improves.
