First off I apologize if this is the wrong thread.

I noticed there is a broken image(?)  link on the front page. The page seems to take a long time to load as a result. Just thought I should bring this to the administrator's/webmaster's attention.

EDIT: The link seems to want to connect to "static.thepiratebay.se" (chrome says "Waiting for static.thepiratebay.se" and idles for a while)

Weird, the page seems to load almost instantly for me.
That section is out of use though, perhaps it should be hidden.

Hello,

Thank you for your post!
That image is loaded directly from the The Pirate Bay servers. (The original servers) Which means that if TPB is blocked in your country, that image will not load either. I should probably run it through a proxy.

Thank you for letting us know, I'll change it right away! Please let us know the result after refreshing your page.

it appears to be fine now.

Odd, TPB is not blocked in my area. perhaps the link was bad or something...scratch

Yeah, TPB isn't blocked for me either, but I only had the dead/broken link thing also.
