Cant play the sims 3

im just wondering if anybody know how to solve the problem when you only get a black screen and then the game crashes after you press play in the launcher??

Thank you for your quick reply, but i still dont understand what to do, i tries searching for something with DEP so i colud try the first steps but cant find anything on my mac.....

Hello,

Skip the DEP part and move on to the other parts / possible fixes. I think DEP is only for Windows.

Do you only have the base game or do you have expansions installed too?

Any additional information you can provide can be useful and will help get you that much closer to playing your game.
