Sims 3 "Unable to start game" error Empty Sims 3 "Unable to start game" error

Hello! 


I did the System Restore on our PC because we encountered lots of problems with the computer so we decided to do so. The computer is perfectly fine now. 

I opened The Sims 3 and I recieved an error saying:

"Unable to start game. Device 0 cannot run this title. No supported video graphics card detected. Please check your system hardware."



I was really wondering why. I honestly don't know what to do.

Hello,

Have you updated your graphic drivers? Is The Sims 3 you installed The Sims 3 Deluxe Edition (R.G. Catalyst) (which is not recommended)? Do you have 2 graphic cards on your pc?

I didn't update it. We didn't update any drivers. Plus, I don't own these Deluxe editions. This just happened after the system restoration... I don't know why.

Hello,

To upgrade the drivers, go to your graphic card's manufacturer website and upgrade your drivers. Or go to Control Panel >> System And Security >> System >> Device Manager >> Double-click "Display adapters" and "Processors". Right-click anything that is shown under these 2 tabs and choose "Update Driver Software". You still haven't answered me: How many graphic cards do you have on your pc?

I only have one and it's NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT.
