Sims 3 crashing

So last week I downloaded the Into the future iso and installed and managed to play it.

But each time after I re-install and replay it's fine then when I switch it off and play again after a few days this happens again.
Is this because of the windows 8? Because I never had this issue when i was using my windows 7..

Been dying to play sims 3 for the longest time and now that i have a new laptop i wanna play it so badly.

There have been some problems recently with the Ultimate fix link, but now it is solved again.

As for the "DEP" fix, it might be different in Windows 8, so have an additional look here. About the "4 GB patch", double-click on the patch and choose the TS3W.exe in the base game location (after you've applied the Ultimate fix).
