Problem connecting to the server Empty Problem connecting to the server

Hi everyone. I downloaded The Sims 3 Base Game, just to play the base one, nothing much. Followed all the steps, all is done and was successfull. But after i clicked the play button, it gives me this message all the time "There is a problem connecting to the server. Please ensure your internet connection is active. If the problem persists try again later."

Please help, i wanna play the game Sad

This may because of the origin problem.
Do you install it?
Besides, can you try start the game with TS3 which is not from your desktop but at the program file there.

No, you don't have to.
 Is it the same result you get after you start the game with TS3?

Yes, i launch using the TS3 using the Bin folder but still the same result. I tried to disable firewall, but still the same result Sad

Nope, i'm using Norton Internet Security antivirus. I'm trying and trying but the problem still there.

Well did you try open your Norton Network Security and go to the firewall setting and see the access level of Sims 3 game?

yeah everything is allowed, i dont know why. I've been uninstalling and restalling. Still, the problem still there. 

I install the game. Then i updated using the manual patch. After that i copy the files from #crack folder from Ultimate Fix to the Bin directory. 

Where did i do wrong.

Please redownload the Ultimate Fix and reapply it (the one you downloaded is outdated). Other than that, I have to do a bit of research on this (none of us have this problem before). Can you tell me where you have downloaded the expansion packs/stuff packs/base game?
