Hi there, actually, that link is not a torrent. That is a file directory similar to mediafire and the likes. Each months content is seperated into a folder. If you click on the folder you will have a list of uploaded sims3pack files available for download. The torrent will include the package files only which each package contains all of the sims3packs in one file. Package files and sims3pack files have different install methods. Package files you have to do create the mods folder and have the required file for the package files to work, while sims3pack files install through the launcher.

I don't know if you read my explanation for that particular 4shared link, but now you know.

I can't tell you why the torrent would do that, but as I said, the 4shared link doesn't lead to the torrent, it leads to individual sims3pack files I uploaded. I'm not sure if we even distributed the july torrent yet. I haven't seen any updates on the forums except for the moderator section where we were preseeding so that all the mods can seed.
