Finding the bad Packages. [SOLVED] Empty Finding the bad Packages. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Sat 14 Dec 2013, 19:14

Hello again, as I've mention already yesterday, I had this problem with the packages in my game. I deleted my old Mods and added the ones for the new patch but my game still crashes once I get to the loading screen.  Crying or Very sad
I really don't want to delete all of my CC.

Hello,

Does your game stop crashing when you disable the mods folder temporarily? If it does, you may have missed an outdated mod, or there's a conflict.
In that case, you'll just have to find out which package it is and you don't have to delete anything else.
Just use the 50/50 method to find the culprit. Start by testing your game with half your packages and every time you don't run into problems, you'll know it's not that batch, and you try the other half. Once the problem returns, you keep splitting what's left until you find the one causing the problem.

Thank you! As it turns out it was one package which wasn't up to date. Smile
