Island Paradise (No disc Error) Empty Island Paradise (No disc Error)

Post by Guest Fri 21 Feb 2014, 08:00

Hey, I installed the new fix then did a manual update with the game and then redid the fix, followed all the instructions and it still is saying that there's no disc. Not sure what to do now :c

I would suggest re-downloading the latest fix. Then reapplying the crack from the #Crack folder to the base game bin folder.  Program files(x86)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin
Location may vary slightly depending on your version of windows. Usually the only reason for a (No Disc Error) is if the crack wasn't applied properly for some reason. If all else fails, you should be able to use the crack that came with the game download. If you use this crack however you may get the "unofficial game modification error" but the game is still playable. I hope this helps you.

To elaborate a bit, it's not recommended to use the #crack from "Into the future", as you won't even be able (probably) to start the game. And even if you are able to start the game, expect severe trouble. And ignoring the "unofficial game modification error" is generally not recommended either.

@
mekotsukawaii, make sure to completely turn off your anti-virus software first.

After that re-do the steps from #2 to #4 here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly

Make sure when doing step #4 to copy the right files into the RIGHT location. Also, make sure to REPLACE all existing files (choose "copy and replace" when prompted). Make a shortcut to the desktop from the cracked TS3W.exe in the base game location, and use the shortcut to start the game.

And that should do !
