Mod problems
Hey,
I actually have a kind of a little problem.
I have download the sims 3 from games4theworld and it works correctly
But I have alot of mods and would like to use them in the game.
I know that I need to put them in downloads from other sims 3 games(who I did remove because I was done playing it but installed it again)
Only in the sims startscreen at downloads there isnt anything..
so my question was, where do i need to put those mods so I can install them in the startscreen and use them in the game? :c
(Sorry for my english)

Re: Mod problems
Are you talking about mods or about custom content ( objects, hair, clothes, etc.. ) ?
Mods can't be install by the launcher ( what you call the startscreen ) but you have to put them into the Mods folder which you probably have to create and have the right Resource.cfg file.
I'd suggest you download the ready-made folder on this page ( http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Installing_Sims_3_Package_Files/Setup_and_Files )
Click the blue Download button on the page and unzip the file, move the Mods folder that you just unzip into your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder
Move your mods ( normally .packages ) into the Packages folder that is inside the Mods folder
Start your game, your mods should work

Re: Mod problems
Hi there,
If your Mods are indeed in .package format, try our little Games4theworld-style guide here: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/Downloads/Guides/How_to_install_.package_files.pdf
