Unable to start: Initialization error at start up [135dec40:984c6a38:00000077]
[ltr]
I've downloaded the sims 4 and installed it (my antivirus was deactivated the whole time ) and at first i had that problem where a window pops up saying The dynamic library "rld.dll" failed to initialize (E0). ,i got it fixed from the instructions you guys gave in the forums ,then another error poped up when i started the game saying ' Initialization error at start up ( i'll include a screenshot) i tried the ultimate fix and disabled my firewall, and i also tried the possible fix from https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18073-unable-to-start-initialization-error-at-start-up-possible-fix-1 ,but it still doesn't work is there any other solution for this problem? it really took me 22 hours to download that from thepiratesbay[/ltr]
[ltr]
[/ltr]
[ltr]I got a reply on facebook saying ; [/ltr]
[ltr]"can you install Origin and make a FAKE account ?[/ltr]
Then log into that account, and leave it open.
After that, try re-starting the game. Does that work ?"
And i did that but it still didn't solve the problem
PS: I also tried the downloading and installing these following files:
vcredist_arm.exe
vcredist_x64.exe
vcredist_x86.exe
it was the solution for The dynamic library "rld.dll" failed to initialize (E0) Error but it didn't help with this problem.

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
Sorry for the late reply. Carlos recently wrote a possible fix for this issue, you can find it here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18501-unable-to-start-initialization-error-at-startup-fix-2
Please, try it and let us know how it goes. Good luck!

Hello,
Yes, what SeoY said. You quoted/read the fix that I actually marked as "obsolete" (please, read those threads on here until the end for any additional notices or updates).
Also, if you say you "got" a reply from Facebook, then I'm assuming that you actually posted the question there (on Facebook) initially. If so, why did you decide to make an extra topic on the forum too ? It only makes communication for me (and any other team members) extremely hard if people post all over the places.
Keep all communication in ONE place, please.
To get back to your issue: as mentioned in the guide SeoY linked to, it's a good idea if you actually do your own research and familiarize yourself with your anti-virus program(s) too, when dealing with that error.

I just followed the the instructions, i have ts4 on the exceptions on my antivirus (avira) and it (the antivirus) doesn't have an internet protection for the version i'm using anyways, i also unmarked "use this program" on windows defender and added ts4 to the windows firewall list of programs and the error still shows up..

Do you only have the TS4 on your anti-virus exceptions ? There is a reason I put the whole folder "Program files(x86)" to the exclusion list in my guide - it's because YOU are supposed to do that, too.
Please, take your time to actually re-read the guide, carefully. And of course, I don't know how Avira works, so you might have to do additional research on your own.
Next: do you actually have other "security"-software too ? If so, please make sure to turn that off or un-install that.
And where did you download the game from ? Is it the Games4TheWorld version of The Sims 4...?
Next, please also make sure to add the download location for your internet browsers (Firefox/Chrome) AND the download location for your torrent client to the exclusions too. And then re-download and re-apply the latest Ultimate fix from here:
http://goo.gl/n1kiU2
Instructions are included.
If nothing helps, then you might also consider un-installing Avira. Or, again: re-read the guide carefully. Don't ask me why, but I have a feeling you missed something or didn't do it correctly. Sorry. It IS possible to overcome this error; I just had another user yesterday who confirmed that this solution from the guide worked for her (OK, she also had Avast, which may have helped).
Also, see this here:

Feel free to join the chatbox on the forum's main page if you see me online there, and then I'll try and help you via TeamViewer. I can't tell though in advance when I'm going to be online on the chat, sorry.

When you un-install Avira, make sure to RE-BOOT the computer after that. And yes, keep us posted !
