Can't post a new thread in the sims 4 fix section?

Hello, I am facing a problem with the Sims 4, where it stops working after I launch the game and it reaches the part where I click the triangular play button, aka it crashes.
However, when I came to post a new thread in the Sims 4 Fix section, it gave me an error saying Sorry, but only users granted special access can post topics in this forum.
And I'm sorry if I have done something wrong, I'm new here, and this is my first post.
Please help me, thank you.

For a start, you are not supposed to post your problems in the "Fixes"-sections. For questions, we have dedicated subforums, like the forums named "Downloads Support", "In-game support", etc.

As for your problem, when did it start happening ? Can you also navigate to My Documents\Electronic Arts and change the name of the folder "The Sims 4", into anything you like ? Then re-start the game, create a new savegame (for now) and play on. See if it makes any difference.

Thank you for the quick reply, however, I redownloaded and reinstalled the ultimate fix, and now it is working  thank you.
But, just as a note, how do I know if the get to work expansion pack and the DLC (i think thats what its called, the one with the ultimate fix) have been installed successfully?

On your start screen at the main menu of Sims 4, you shouold see a female doctor, a police officer, and other sims with the new careers. Also, just look inside your game if the new content shows up.
