That the release groups are sick of the sims.

I Hope im wrong, but to think about the work it must take
to crack these things, and then to see just days later, a
new update, expansion pack, stuff pack, DLC pack,
Whatever else pack. who would want to have to deal with that?

I would think it gets to the point that after 3 regurgitated releases
of the sims previous in which they kept faithfully repeating the process.
Cracking expansion after Expansion, Stuff Pack after Stuff Pack,
Update after Update. You eventually decide why bother, there
is already 3 versions of the same game. you wanna play sims,

go buy it, or play one of the older ones.

Its just a pretty version of "same ****, different day"

DLC's and updates are separate now, DLC's are loaded as plugins Bethesda style and updates don't roll in very often, so I doubt it. I'd be more worried about release groups ditching the game because it flatout sucks.

Anyway, you're essentially complaining that the game is a rip-off and too much of it is being sold separately. Agreed, but your solution to this is "buy it"? Seriously? Denser than osmium this one Razz

Im not really saying its a rip-off, the sims series is one of my favorites. I would get excited about the sims 20 if it ever gets to that. im just thinking about the release groups, and the lack of releases of sims 4 stuff. really all each sims game is a shinier version. they may add some stuff, or take away some stuff... but what it usually boils down to is reselling a better version of the same old stuff.

you build a house, create a sim, get em a job, find em a partner, make some friends, get em married, woohoo,  have some kids, send em to school, go on vacation, get some pets, enjoy the snow. practice some magic, get abducted by aliens, watch out for creatures of the night.

like i said, i love the sims, been a fan since the sims 1 came out and always bought every game and every stuff and expansion until bout half way thru the sims 3 series, at which time my financial situation couldn't afford me the luxury of buying more, and things have been tough ever since. but this is getting off topic. just saying i am a huge sims fan.

im just looking at it from a possible perspective of a cracker who has tons of new games to keep up with, who might think its a waste of time and energy to constantly have to keep up with all the sims additions all the time.

I truely hope im wrong. at this point the only real thing im hoping for is to get that empty world as far as stuff thats already out, that hasnt been released to us yet. aside from that i dont mind waiting.

Yeah except in this case it is a rip-off. And it's exactly the same "old stuff" we've had before, only less of it...

As for the release groups, like I said, they probably aren't bothering because The Sims 4 isn't worth it.
