Winrar 5.21 does not register

Winrar keygens might be writing the file successfully but when you go to place it in the winrar folder, then launch winrar to check it has been registered it gives 40 day evaluation. For some messed up reason this does not apply to Windows 7. There is something in windows 10 preventing the registration of the license into winrar.

Speculations aside, about whether Windows 10 is capable of detecting or even removing pirated stuff, I briefly wrote about your WinRAR issue here:

Yes, it actually does apply to Windows 7 too, as I myself had the issue there, originally. Making sure to run the included "activator" as Administrator, and also making sure that your security-software doesn't mess with it seems to do the trick already. Good luck !

does not work at all...still evaluation copy. There is nothing wrong with the keygen or the software...something inside **** windoze 10 is preventing this from working as intended. I have never had this issue with windoze 7..just this version.

The screenshot I used in the guide uses the Windows Defender UI version from Windows 7. That could be improved. Windows 10's "Defender" works a bit differently, and you should turn off the "real-time protection" there temporarily.

Winrar 5.21 does not register Clipbo12

Settings -> Update and Security -> Windows Defender -> Real-time protection -> Off. Here it is already turned off because I installed avast, But I registered WinRAR 5.21 without any problems after turning that off. I'm not sure what is happening on your computer, but to my surprise my Windows 10 Enterprise works smooth, as of yet. I doubt this is different in other Windows 10 versions. Note that on the next re-boot, Windows Defender will be turned on again, and that may be part of the problem in your case ? I haven't found a way to completely shut off Windows Defender yet (feel free to google though), but you may try installing an additional third-party anti-virus and then configuring the exclusions from there.

Hi there,

Also note that if you previously had WinRAR installed, it might have issues registering. In that case, just remove WinRAR completely - Use Your Uninstaller Pro! from www.games4theworld.org , if necessary; use the "Super Mode" - and restart your PC afterwards.

After that you can install our version of WinRAR, following the included "# Installation Guide.txt" file.

is a problem with security level of protected system folders!

(i am with Windows 10)

once you run the regkey generator, it ask you to target the installation drawer of Winrar,
there is the problem, you click ok, but the system block the file creation by the generator!

the solution is simple,

just select another place, (outside of protected system area) e.g. D:
just go with your file explorer and transfer the regkey in the winrar folder "MANUALY"
the system ask you administrator right, just click yes and it's done!
now the Winrar is registered.

Maybe. I have Windows 10 (Enterprise), and Windows Defender is turned off. Other than running the regkey-generator as Administrator, I didn't do anything special. But I still managed to activate the WinRAR, according to the instructions...
