Can't save on vacation with traveler mod? Empty Can't save on vacation with traveler mod?

My game has been acting up the last couple days when trying to travel so I put some mods in to help fix it (traveler, overwatch, errortrap, master controller, debug enabler). I already had awesomemod installed from a while ago. Now I can get my sim to France but I like to save after I do an adventure so I don't lose anything. But everytime I try to save, my game crashes. It doesn't happen in my sim's hometown (Sunset Valley). I used the crash log reader on here and it says it's RAM related so I used the patch on here to increase it and still nothing. Can I not save on vacation anymore? I haven't tried going on vacation, coming home then saving because I don't want to find out that everything my sim did there was for nothing.

Yes, you can definitely save in vacation places too, at least normally. Did you make sure to remove the "awesomemod" ? That is a huge mod which lots of functions, and it will conflict with some other (NRAAS) mods too.

In general, the whole travelling system is bugged and won't get fixed anymore (since EA is now focusing on The Sims 4). I have made it into a habit of making a backup-savefile BEFORE travelling anywhere. This backup is then put in a separate location. Should I encounter a serious bug during vacation I just replace the savefile with my backup.
