Installing Pets

Hi, do I have to replace all the original TS3EP, TS3SP and TSLHost.dll files in the "The_Sims_3_fix" rar file before installing Pets, then update and then apply the crack or do I just install Pets update and then crack.

Not to be rude or anything
but I noticed that problems that were posted hours after mine have been
answered already and I really would love to install Pets but am not
sure how to go about it.

I installed everything initially at once
(after following the instructions and video) and it worked perfectly. I
am just unsure how to go about installing additional packs.

Please be patient when waiting for an answer, me and the Mods check all posts a few times a day and we'll reply as soon as possible if we can help.

I see everything works fine now, glad to hear that. If you want to install any additional expansion packs, it's easy: just install the extra packs you want, but DO NOT apply any cracks - just install the game, that's it. Nothing else required. So: NO more cracking is needed.

So the way I installed was wrong then. I replaced all the files with the originals then I installed Pets and updated and then I applied the crack in the Pets "fix" folder.

My game works except I am having a problem in CAS (now CAH) with the male hair and am now wondering if it is because I applied the crack which I thought I had to do because it was a new expansion pack.

Sorry I am really confused now Was I just supposed to install Pets and carry on with the crack from the previous Generations/Town Life crack. I really hope I am making sense here.
